Movement class for senior elderly

Health & Longevity Classes

Moving Well

For the mature mover. This small group class focuses on gently getting the whole body moving in all of its wonderful ways and directions, building strength, co ordination and balance along the way. Suitable for anyone who feels they might be too old for yoga, too unfit for exercise and too stiff to start again. Let’s discover that none of this is true.

Chagford: Tuesdays 9:30 – 10:30 am. Book here.

Ashburton: Fridays 9 – 9.45 am. Book here.

Tai Chi & Tea (Chagford)

We explore Wu Style Taiji as taught by my teacher, Michael Acton, learning the big, slow ‘Da Man Quan’ form, foundational exercises and Qi Gong. Each session is punctuated with a simple tea ceremony, sharing the principles of this beautiful art and tasting teas from around the world.

Thursdays 9:30 – 10:15 am. Book here.

Relax & Restore (Chagford)

A deeply restorative yin-inspired class; mainly floor-based with longer-held postures supported by props. Incorporating gentle somatic enquiry and a meditative approach, it’s perfect for anyone feeling burnt out, in need of deep rest and nourishment.

Thursdays 6:30 –7:30 pm with optional Yoga Nidra at 6 pm. Book here.
